Rabbi Hershel Schachter

 

 

Rabbi Hershel Schachter is a leading Torah scholar, posek, and Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). A renowned authority in Halacha, he has served as a Rosh Yeshiva at RIETS since 1967 and was a close disciple of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik.
