Soloveitchik Semikhah Program at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) of Yeshiva University, where he helps train the next generation of rabbanim and poskim. Rabbi Lebowitz is internationally renowned for his clear, concise, and engaging style of teaching, reaching tens of thousands of listeners around the world through his prolific online shiurim. He is perhaps best known for his popular “Ten Minute Halacha” series, where he presents complex halachic topics in a clear and accessible format for the broader Torah community. In addition, he delivers a widely-followed Daf Yomi shiur, and gives regular lectures on Parashah, halacha, and machshavah.

A talmid of Rav Hershel Schachter, Rabbi Lebowitz is deeply influenced by the halachic approach and Torah worldview of his rebbi. His shiurim and writings are notable not only for their clarity and accessibility, but also for being riddled with personal conversations of Gedolei Yisrael. Rabbi Lebowitz frequently quotes and interacts with major poskim such as Rav Asher Weiss, Rav Yitzchok Zilberstein, and others, offering a unique window into the living world of psak halacha in our time.
